StateDock by ByteYellow

Effective 15 October 2026

Terms of Service

These terms cover the hosted StateDock service and its connected plugin workflows. StateDock is operated by Gang Huang, an individual operating under the ByteYellow brand (StateDock by ByteYellow). Contact: support@statedock.dev. Independently self-hosted deployments are operated separately.

1. The service

StateDock stores project goals, plans, task context, progress and handoffs and makes them available to authorized users and connected clients. You remain responsible for deciding what work to authorize and for reviewing results. The shared plugin Skills do not themselves execute code, launch agents, schedule work or orchestrate agents.

2. Your account and content

Use an account you are authorized to control. Protect credentials, review connected clients and collaborators, and revoke access when it is no longer needed. Submit only information you have the right to provide. You retain your rights in your content and authorize StateDock to process it as necessary to provide, secure and maintain the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use the service for unlawful activity, unauthorized access, distributing malware, infringing others’ rights, interfering with service availability, or bypassing access controls and plan limits. Do not use task descriptions to store secrets that are unnecessary for the workflow.

4. Connected hosts and integrations

OAuth grants and MCP credentials allow connected clients to act within their granted permissions. Review writes, status changes and sharing choices carefully. Third-party hosts, payment and notification services have their own terms and policies. Revoking access does not retract data already sent to another service.

5. Paid plans

Prices, limits, billing intervals and any renewal conditions are shown before purchase. Manage subscriptions through the available billing portal. Cancellation and refunds are subject to the purchase terms and mandatory consumer rights; these terms do not waive those rights.

6. Availability and responsibility

Features may evolve and interruptions may occur. Keep copies of information essential to your work and check agent-reported results. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without a promise of uninterrupted availability or error-free results. Nothing here excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

7. Ending use and updates

You may stop using the service, disconnect clients and request deletion using the contact above. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security issues or legal requirements. We will publish updated terms here with an updated effective date; material changes will be communicated through available service channels. Applicable mandatory law continues to apply.
